Can I book a room only reservation with the 30% off select resorts, and then do a separate booking of tickets with paying 50% for kid? Will they stop me from using the two discounts in two separate transactions?

I don’t see why this wouldn’t be allowed.
Know that you’ll have to place a 1night deposit on your room only (which may or may not be greater than the $200 deposit when booking a package, depending on the resort you choose) and you’ll have to pay in full for the tickets - which will be nonrefundable - at the time of purchase.
So there could be some savings, but it comes at a risk that is different than when you book a package (making your whole reservation - including the tickets - fully refundable until final payment is due at 30 days before travel)
So probably but I would be cautious with it.

I looked at it and it does say “can’t be combined with other offers” but I do think that if you did it as a separate transaction they couldn’t stop you. You might just have to try.

If I do two separate transactions and pay in full for each AND get confirmation numbers for each, would there be a possibility of Disney “catching on” and making me pay a difference? Like my day of arrival could they say “can’t have two deals you have to pay rack rate for room or full price tickets”

With almost full confidence I can say this won’t happen. Unless it specifically says you can’t combine the offers together there isn’t anything preventing this. You can get the tickets and not even stay on site correct?
It’s one discount on room, one discount on tickets. Two completely separate products and transactions. Unless I’m missing something, I don’t get how this could be “combining” offers. Like, they wouldn’t let you get an AP room discount and then a 30% summer discount. But their system doesn’t even let you try that.
If you were getting a package, that would be a different story, since packages include tickets.

Thank you! I ended up canceling an Aug resort and ticket package and booked with the new discounts. I got a room only reservation with a room discount. And tickets for my family if 5…3 kids tickets half price! Saved me $989!
