California to issue theme park reopening guidelines this week, state officials say

Man alive. I can’t imagine the frustration.

When I read “geographic” restrictions would that have been something like “no out of state folks” or “folks from northern CA not welcome in southern CA”?

Whatever it was, it looks like it would cause further irritation.

One reporter said it would have been SoCal only - San Francisco would have been outside the allowed zone. Hopefully that provision gets struck before they issue the guidance.

I’m rolling my eyes so hard they hurt. I just don’t understand the thinking.

Just saw this article:

With this quote:

“Today California amusement park leaders who have been working for months to prepare to reopen responsibly saw an initial draft of state guidance and blueprint placement for California’s amusement parks,” Guerrero said in a statement. “While we are aligned on many of the protocols and health and safety requirements, there are many others that need to be modified if they are to lead to a responsible and reasonable amusement park reopening plan.”

Sounds like Disney (and others) are not fans of the theme park guidelines. Ugh.
