Any rumors about a potential open date? All I can find is “spring 2026”. Anyone think it’s possible they could reopen it next month?

They are actively testing with the dummies right now. Cast members are working overnights as they push through the testing process. But I haven’t heard any date yet.

The consensus from online speculators is that it will be later rather than sooner. But no one really knows until Disney announces it. They still say “Spring 2026” on the official website.
My guess is April. But I’m just basing that on the fact that we haven’t heard much and so I don’t think it’s imminent. But it’s still possible they’ll surprise us.

My trip is April 9-19. Since I’m checking out on April 20, I predict…it will open April 20.

Disney definitely considers Memorial Day summer with their “summer update” a few weeks ago so it should definitely be before then.

DFB is reporting that BTMRR will be down for the whole month of March, but I haven’t seen that officially anywhere. Thoughts? 3 Disney World Rides Will Be Closed for Refurbishment in March 2026 | the disney food blog

I think it’s pretty much considered “down” until it’s announced when it will be back. I’m hopeful that it will be open by April but I’m not really that optimistic. I would not expect it to open in March.

This is a dumb article. It listed the rides that have been closed for months. Disney said it will open in spring so I suspect April or May.

They extended the overnights for the CMs at BTMRR through March, so that makes sense.
