The VQs for Tiana and GotG are ending from Feb 25th. They revert to stand-by and LLSP.
Edit: Tiana will use the MultiPass, Guardians stays with SinglePass.

Given that they don’t really enforce return times for the VQs, I guess the lines are already pretty much just like standby anyway, so it makes sense.
Though I do wonder how many people try to get a BG and fail these days, or don’t even attempt at all not knowing how to do it or thinking you have to pay or whatever reason. If a lot still, that would affect line length.
Ugh, there goes by genius plan to use BG1, hop on Guardians at 8:45 when group 1 is called, and be on my way to MK just after 9AM.
I wonder how that will impact rope drop of Remy and FEA?
Durn, I will miss the early morning walk-on for Guardians.
We saw people at both rides being turned away because they didn’t have a BG earlier this month. Many of them seemed to be international visitors and didn’t seem to know anything about the VQ. I felt bad for them. I do wonder what lines will be like now, especially for Guardians. But I’m overall happy that they are doing this. It’s been close to three years that Guardians has had the VQ!
I’m so sad. I love VQ.
I’m sad the VQ for GotG is going away! I’m not sad about the 6:58 am wake-up for VQ!
Does anyone have an official source for this?
I was just told this by one of my nurses but it’s not on Disney Parks Blog that I could find, and I don’t have a TA email about it. My TA friends haven’t heard anything official and are only seeing it reported on FB
I hope it’s not true, and would like official notice before I get my panties twisted
Here are the official links

Thanks for these links
It would be nice if there were some kind of official news release and/or blog post instead of people stumbling upon it on their own
No problem. Literally just saw them on a reddit post so quickly copied them over here.
I’m very interested to see what this group has to say.
It’s on the ride pages of the website, presumably the app too.
I can’t see how to attach a screenshot just now. No doubt someone else will.
Yes someone posted a link
So it’s like - did they think they were just going to slip this by the superfans?
There is a news site but I can’t think what it’s called now! Not the parks blog though.
I took a pretty detailed post-Epcot survey from Disney over the weekend that asked quite a few questions about the VQ and my opinions, suggesting they were thinking about doing away with it. So I was surpised to see it already happening so soon!
I will also miss the advantage an early BG and and early arrival provided.
Maybe this one? But it doesn’t have frequent articles, or anything about this. There are a couple other official Disney sites, but they’re focused more on bigger news, especially corporate.
I always think it is best for a VQ to go away as soon as demand drops enough. People should have the option to wait if they want without having to mess with getting a VQ. But…for those who know how to take advantage the VQ, I can see why there would be disappointment for it going away.
One advantage this could bring is easing rope drop stress on other rides. At EP, for example, the two main RD rides are Remy and Frozen (TT is out of the picture momentarily), so adding GotG will ease the initial rope drop demand, spreading it a bit.
While I used the VQ at GotG and Tiana…in both cases it was annoying that I couldn’t control my arrival time (officially at least). It kind of controls your day rather you being able to control your own day.
February, around the time of a pretty significant cold snap, is not a good time to assess demand for a WATER RIDE!
Yes demand has been down at that ride the past month-ish. It’s been too dang cold to risk getting even a little bit wet!
I can only think that LLSP for these rides has not been going as well as they want. So they are going to push it — and can probably increase the pricing because demand will go up too
I’m not usually a “Disney is all about money grabs” kind of person but this can’t be anything more than that, can it?
