Both Parks in One Day

Planning to spend a day at Universal on my upcoming September Disney Trip. Was planning to spend Sunday, September 18th at IOA, but am think of doing both parks. I am a Harry Potter fan and was thinking it would be nice to explore both of the Harry Potter areas. According to crowd calendar, it’s going to be a 4 in Studios and 3 in IOA. Do you think I will have time to explore both parks? I know I won’t be able to hit everything. The main place I would like to hit are both Harry Potter areas, Jurassic Park, and Marvel Island. Is this do-able?

Here is my simple game plan:

At Universal Studios I would like to do the Following:

  1. Arrive at Opening (8am)
  2. Ride Rip Ride Rocket
  3. Ride Revenge of the Mummy
  4. Explore Diagon Alley
  5. Ride Gringotts
  6. Hogwarts Express to Hogsmeade.

I think if I arrive at the opening I can knock out the first two rides in the first hour and have 2 or 3 hours in Diagon Alley to explore before riding the express to Hogsmeade.

At IOA I would do the Following:

  1. Lunch at 3 broomsticks

  2. Ride Dragon Challenge

  3. Ride Forbidden Journey

  4. Explore Hogsmeade for a few hours.

  5. Explore Jurassic Park

  6. Ride JP River Adventure

  7. Ride Kong

  8. Ride Ripsaw Falls

  9. Ride Hulk

  10. Ride Doom’s Free Fall

  11. Ride Spider-Man

  12. Poseidon’s Fury (if time).

we are doing both parks that same day. I got the express pass to just make it a little bit easier, but I think it is doable :slight_smile:
