I was just looking at my touring plan, and it says that this ride is closed when I am at wdw. 
I cannot seem to find info telling me that it is officially closed. I will be in WDW from Sept 27 - Oct 5.
ok, I have just seen on here somewhere that is will be closed. So so disappointed.
Disappointed here too. Last year PotC was down for me, so so least I’ll get that. Will need to plan multiple visits to other rollercoasters so DeH doesn’t feel like he missed out.
