Hello! I have been reading about BG1 on these chat boards so I looked it up and downloaded it on my phone. I have tried searching in the Forums for more information on how to use it but didn’t really find anything. (may be my poor searching techniques).
Is anyone willing to help a newbie out with this system? Do we use it just like we would the regular Disney app? Can we buy the Genie Plus using BG1 or do we need to do that on the Disney App? Is it safe security wise? Can we coordinate BG1 with touring plans? Sorry for all the questions - I am new to TP and BG1 and trying to figure it all out. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Mostly. You follow one link for virtual queues and the other for booking LL.
Can we buy the Genie Plus using BG1 or do we need to do that on the Disney App?
No cash goes through BG1 - so you have to buy G+ through MDE and purchase ILL through MDE
Is it safe security wise?
Yes. I know it is open code and people smarter than me can vouche that it is safe.
Can we coordinate BG1 with touring plans?
You would have to input any LL you get through BG1 into your touring plan. Those LL will show up on MDE.

It’s like MDE but so much better because it’s a simpler and cleaner user interface. I definitely recommend trying it out. Are you able to view the La Cava section of the forum? If you scroll down through the various sections, it will be near the bottom. Most of the info is there.
We try to keep specific information about BG1 in the KaCava section of the forum since you need to be a registered user to access that section.

Thank you so much for your help! Especially @heathernoel for going through and answering all of my questions! I had seen people mention La Cava and searched but came up with posts that looked like they were about a restaurant! So was pretty confused. 
I just signed in and saw the La Cava thread at the bottom so will look at that to get more information.

The threads on the top of the LaCava section are pinned. There are 1000s of posts. The first posts are the most important and are edited to update info.
You will have to jump to the bottom to set the thread to stay pinned.
