Best way from AK to HDDR?

What is the best way to get from Animal Kingdom to the HDDR? Where do you catch the boat to the actual area where the HDDR takes place? Or, are we better off going to the FW entrance and taking their internal bus? TIA!

You can take the bus from AK to either MK or CR and then take the boat to Fort Wilderness. Very quick from the landing

Agree. I would probably choose CR as the transportation at MK can be a real bottleneck.

Thanks! Is CR the Contemporary Resort? How long should we give ourselves from AK to HDDR? 60 minutes?

You can take the bus from AK straight to Ft Wilderness resort. Always allow an hour for transportation.

And you have to take internal transportation if you take bus to FW. I really enjoy / prefer the boat ride but it would take a little longer doing it that way.
