Beating the summer heat

I’ve seen several people pass out over the few august’s I’ve gone on trips. Always check your pee color and go from there!

Yes, we used these tiny ones that you can just clip on your bag or beltloop. Easy enough to refill, and not bulky to carry.

We used the same things, our local Walmart usually carries some of a different brand for $2/each. Anything with a carabiner makes parks easier. Even have travel size sunblock with one so I can reapply more often.

Perhaps…but you still need to worry about electrolytes.

We ALWAYS take a break, now some times if we dont feel like going back to the resort it may just be going to an inside ride like hall of presidents or the American adventures pavilion. Just something to cool down

It’s definitely possible. As has been said, the big problem is when people are not replacing electrolytes. That’s why it’s best to alternate water with some type of electrolyte drink. I use Nuun tablets. Gives some flavor and replaces the electrolytes without being overly cloying like GatorAde or Powerade. If those are my only options, I dilute the drink because they’re just gross to me at full-strength.
