Beak and Barrel opening Date - Aug 29!

The thing on the Beak and Barrel menu that appeals is the $45 FourSquare. I have a bottle of that at home though that I paid $150/$160 for, for a whole bottle, so $45 a 2 oz pour…I can do that at home for much cheaper LOL. Now a cocktail is an art…but the premade cocktails are generally not my thing as they are usually too sweet and I’m sure that’s what this is gonna be with a 45 min time limit like Ogas. So if I’m only getting one sit down meal this day because we only have one day in MK I feel like that time is better spent at a real restaurant with real cocktails. But I also have that itch of try everything HA HA HA. Why I’m slowly collecting all the WDW hotels and I’ve already collected all the Disney parks around the world so the FOMO is real! ha ha ha

Yes. This is why I stay away from mixed drinks at QS locations. I really only want them from an actual bar in WDW.

Yeah, I can’t stand a premade margarita from a machine. Never ever order the frozen margarita. LOL. But in DLP my 18yos were drinking those margaritas cuz they don’t know no better. One day they’ll realize all that sugar is why they have a headache!

I will but I will consider it an icee, lol. Margaritas belong on the rocks. My favorite Mexican restaurant went to a mix for their margs. That was the first of their downfall. We have since switched to a new fav place where the Margaritas are fantastic! The food is more authentic too. I may suggest that for dinner tonight, lol.

I read that DLP as DLR there, and it made me double-take for a moment.

Yeah they can’t drink there yet though they wish. It was really hard coming home from Europe. I do not mind if mine has a glass or two of wine with dinner or a margarita because I’ve watched her drink responsibly. Europe gets it right. Don’t treat it like it’s forbidden and they don’t act like idiots.

At least it wont be competing with the people trying to make their normal 6am reservations. I felt extra sorry for the people just trying to get through for their regular 60+ day list.

Waiting room

This has been a good thing for many of the runDisney events. Not all, mind you  but when it works as intended it works very well

I’m going to not get reservations. It looks like it would be fun to see, but I can’t have any of the eats and most of the drinks. Good luck to all of you trying!

(I think I might try Geo, though. Probably won’t be available, though, since I’m less than 60 days out.)

You might be surprised on availability for Geo

Definitely check day-of too. I have been hearing about successful walk-ups!

Ok, this is taking too long… “The wait is almost over”, or is it, Disney?
I’m getting tired of staring at the goat :goat: and blinking skeleton :skull: (and oh I miss Big Thunder!)
