Doesn’t change anything for me personally, but I find it strange they would decide to refurbish at the time that people would want to actually make use of the beach. I also think it’s kind of sad to announce this the week before they do it (poor folks with reservations locked in), unless it’s been somewhere and I just haven’t seen it.
I think I read somewhere that some of the piers have rotted and the place is a bit of an eyesore, especially towards the Reflections site. Maybe they just want to get this sorted before the peak Summer crowds arrive.
