My DD’s band is going to be performing in MK on January 14th. Where is the best spot to watch? We usually watch the parade in Frontierland, but I’m wondering if we should stake out a spot in front of the castle ? Any tips?

A great spot, and I have to thank @LTinNC82 every time, is in Liberty Square where the parade makes the turn. You get to see it straight on - then from the side when the path turns.

I would try to get a spot in the middle of the circle staring right down Main Street USA towards the castle. You should get some great pictures of them with the castle in the background.

They are popular parade spots in general, so you will need to commit to them early, but for having a kid in the parade…

@cbalusek posted a map with where I was sitting in an earlier thread but I can’t find it.
But if you consider the circle in front of the castle as a clock, I was at about 5:00.

Here’s the map:
I ended up in the yellow area across from the hub, which was awesome. Because of the angle I was able to get pictures of every single kid and also the castle. Here’s my brother when he saw me and my mom:
I had debated doing across from the other yellow circle based on a picture my brother sent me from another band director’s band picture:
