First timers traveling Thanksgiving week; park-to-park tickets, staying at Hard Rock so we have Express Pass. We have three full park days scheduled, plus our arrival day. Ideally I’d like to have a full day at each of the parks, plus an extra day to just bounce around to our favorite rides at the dry parks.
Flight is scheduled to land at 10:45 on Saturday. I’m thinking we could be checked in, grab a quick lunch and be ready to tour attractions by… 1:00pm? Assuming that’s the case, is it possible to cover all of USF in that amount of time without feeling rushed? If we could hit all of the rides and see the Horror, Bourne, and Animal Actors show, I’d be thrilled! Or would IOA be a better bet, given the lack of larger production shows? If neither option is reasonable, feel free to smack me upside the head with a dose of reality.
I’d like to carve out a good chunk of time on one of our full days for Harry Potter stuff, as my wife is a big fan and I don’t want to rush through that.
Thanks!

Your room may not be ready, but you can leave your bags at luggage services in the lobby.
IMHO - It takes about 90 minutes to get from landing to my room / check bags and get into the parks.
The park is open until 10pm. You should be able to do most every ride, but not every show. Most shows stop after 4pm. I’d recommend Bourne as my “must do” if I could only see one!
You will want to see the lagoon / drone show that night
I would rather spend a full day at IOA.
This is when you’ll want park-to-park tickets. You need them to ride the Hogwarts Express. I like starting my day at one part of WWOHP and then transferring over after lunch.
There will be holiday theme versions of all the shows in the WWOHP. They are all fun!

Sorry, to clarify we arrive on the 23rd. Website shows closing at 8:00pm… which frankly I found surprising. Saturday the 30th has a 10:00pm closing. But even more surprising is the earlier closures on the 24th. I’m hoping it will be warm that day and we’ll spend it at Volcano Bay.
Any tips for arrival day? Or are we better off just enjoying what we can knowing we have the luxury of park-to-park tickets for our other days?

This is the best way… Figure out what you are doing on the full days now. Then you can use the arrival date to fill in the gaps or do attractions more than once.
