We’ll be arriving at Disney World on Sunday (4/27) and I was wondering if there is any sign of lovebugs at this point??

Haven’t seen any yet but we generally don’t encounter them until sometime in May.

Nothing to add about the current lovebug situation but the post brings me back to the first week in May of 2019, we stayed at the Poly and they were so abundant they ruined our pool day and we ended up packing up and renting a boat to get away from them. It’s funny though, I go that time almost every year and that’s the only time I remember them being bothersome.

2019 was our first experience with these crazy bugs too! They were everywhere!
I saw two in the last week. I was there in May 2019 too, I remember that craziness.
Seems that they may be on the decline in Florida…
We were at GF in Sept of 2019 and a CM at the pool told us that she had a couple that kept complaining loudly to the pool staff about the love bugs and asking “What are you planning on doing about them?” Cracked me up - I get they are bothersome, but what exactly were they expecting the bartender at the outdoor pool to do about things that fly through the air?
