Any idea why IOA closing at 6 pm on April 30?

Anybody know why?

(I’m expecting that it will be The World (aka 6.5 American states) Gerbil Racing Finals that is inexplicably known as Pop Waddler and EVERYBODY knows Pop Waddler runs on the weekend of the 3rd full moon of Alabama’s pomegranate season…)

Maybe it’s not reliable this far out or maybe I’m missing an obvious event
I think Mardi Gras ends the weekend before.

Yep. Grad Bash is April 1, 2, 8, 29, 30. In 2019, both parks closed at 6:00 on those days.
