Any benefit to booking Room Only super early?

I’m trying to plan out our trip to UO next June (2026), and we’re planning to book a Signature Resort to take advantage of the Express Pass (but not at Epic?). Is there any advantage to booking the room only now? Royal Pacific is $655/night for the dates we’re looking at. It’s refundable but not sure it’s worth locking up thr $700 deposit.

If the price goes up, the price you pay doesn’t change. If it does go down, you can easily rebook.

This was my thought but my experience with Universal is none. I presume they’ll launch some sort of package deal soon, but who knows.

The rates won’t lower until around 150 - 120 days before your trip. No need to book now.

I’m booking for this September in a few weeks. However, everything is still full rate right now

Hopefully by then they’ll have packages and tickets available as well!

corret, express is not for Epic at the Signature resorts.

over a year out is a bit early, I usually book 9 months out.

I just checked. I booked my Sept. SF AP rate and I haven’t seen a lower rate. Of course, I have never been able to book an AP rate that far out before. Is that new or unusual?
