Animal Kingdom Touring Plan doesn't seem to be using early entry

I’ve created a custom plan, (link), but for some reason, it’s not at all using the early entry time, even if I tell it to use the rope drop mode.

Does anyone have any idea? Should I just create a new one and start over?

Optimization looks at the least amount of total waiting time, for the whole day. Maybe it thinks this is the best arrangement.

Also, KS doesn’t start until 8:00 a.m.

was thinking we’d go to NRJ during early entry… or FOP, but it doesn’t want me to use either. It so strange.

You can certainly take this plan and move steps up and down to put them in an order you prefer, but this is a starting point. If you want to see how your modified version compares to this first plan, make a copy then edit the copy with your changes. Making copies and tweaking them is a very common thing!

it’s so weird, I made a brand new copy, and it’s doing way different things!

I figured it out. The times didn’t properly update when Disney changed the park hours. it still said starting at 730, even though early entry actually starts at 7 now! Fixed, now it makes sense.

Mines doing the same thing. How did you fix it?

Double check the hours – although I had flipped the ‘use early theme park entry,’ my starting hours were at the end of early entry time. In addition, my copy plan had set different walking speeds and waiting / walking balance preferences. So check that too.

Not sure what was going on. Today all I did was hit the Evaluate button and it worked. Didn’t change a thing.

Now it’s happening with my EPCOT plan on 06/05. I’ve done everything to fix it, including deleting the plan and starting over. Nothing works.

Have you double checked the park hours on the app and Touring Plans match?

Good thought. I just checked, they match. It’s very confusing. A this point I’m inclined to think there is a bug in Touring Plans.

Mine seems to glitch due to time zone difference (I am Central time), so whatever start time I pick, it shows up as 1 hour later in my plan… I use it mostly for walking times anyway since we will have LL.

I’m in EST so that shouldn’t matter.
