Thanks for all the good info on buses we stayed at OKW last year and we had no issues with Disney Transport like you said 20/25 mins max to all destinations by the way (OBNurse) loved your last photo trip

No. DVC annual dues pay for things like parking, so they cannot charge us for parking. We effectively own the parking lots - between us! The same will apply to anyone renting points, since dues have been paid on those points.
If we pay cash to stay at a non-DVC resort, we will have to pay for parking. But if we (were daft enough to) use points to stay at a non-DVC resort we would escape the charge.

I’d only pay to park and take the bus if the incentive was great enough. For instance, we’ll be there on 4th of July. I’m not driving that day.
But, my July trip was booked before the new rules. No parking fee for this time.
I probably will just stay offsite for mid-year trips.
