Disney has released info on all the Halloween happenings at the Disneyland Resort, including when OBB tickets go on sale! https://disneyparksblog.com/dlr/13-halloween-and-fall-favorites-returning-to-disneyland-resort/
LET’S GO!! I’m so excited
Fingers crossed that all who want tickets, me included, are able to get them without too much drama.
This is the first year in a long time (well except when there were no Halloween parties due to Covid) that I am not planning on going.
Crazy, right? No sitting on the computer for hours waiting to get in. I had already decided not to go to the party this year before the on sale date was announced, but the release dates just confirmed my plan not to go. I will be in Portugal next week and have no desire to wait hours on my phone over there where the cell service and wifi leave a lot to be desired (very slow compared to the US). I will still go to the parks for a day or two in October, but so much of what I love about Halloween time there is included without having to buy party tickets. I am going to MNSSHP in WDW and on a Halloween at Sea cruise as well, so plenty of dressing up this year. I hope everyone who wants to go is able to get their tickets!
Which one?!!
One of the three cruises I’m tracking is 10/28-11/1 on Wish!
(Also 8/26 and 9/30)
The Wish 9/27-30. That would be crazy if you had been tracking that one!
Oh my gosh! So close!!!
I really want a four night.
Maybe you’ll have intell for me though!
4 nights would be better, our 4 night on the Dream felt short. Did you change your mind about your WDW trip this fall?
I’ve all but jumped ship (see what I did there?).
I all but directly asked DD14 if she’d prefer a Disney vacation or a cruise and when she was done laughing about how the two don’t compare “Obviously a cruise!” (Obviously?!)
So I think a four night Wish and then two nights at Cabana Bay with one pool day and a Volcano Bay day. I just need to figure out which of the three date groups works best for DH. He is working on a Black Belt (the education kind) this fall.
DD doesn’t care what cruise line. To her cruises are just the best ever. I do wonder if they will still be fun without her older siblings…. But I’m excited to try it.
I want DCL.
It’s good to hear that in case we can’t get tickets, but still really hoping to get tickets
That’s how DD and DH feel too.
We joined a cruise group and had some parent-supervised tween meets/correspondence beforehand. DD only ended up spending time with one girl on the cruise but it worked out really well. They were cruising with her extended family and the whole family was really nice.
Good luck to everyone trying for tickets today! Reminding all to sign in and check all your card info is correct:blush: I have the So Cal Pass so I will be queueing up tomorrow
In and out in 26 minutes. @daw623 I hope you get through just as easy. This year they offer an email to notify you when its your turn. YEAH RIGHT Like I’m gonna fall for that. Probably would receive it until tomorrow
Yay! Glad you got your tickets! Took me about 30 minutes to get my ticket. So much easier this year! Definitely didn’t use the email option because I’m sure it would come hours after it was my time to purchase.
Reports of people not being able to get tickets/ it saying sold out already because you need to sign in again! So frustrating. I too almost missed it
I saw a lot of people who did sign back in with the link & still told date was sold out. I checked around 11 & the DL website said the queue was already closed & would open again tomorrow morning. Seems like they really limited the number of tickets sold during the pre-sale to Magic Key holders.
If one of those days is on Halloween then I’ll be there! I’ll also be going on 11/1, it seems, so will Guardians and HM be back to normal that day? That could decide whether I do park hopper or not.
