All-Star Music Family Suites - Preferred vs. Standard

I have a reservation for a family suite at All-Star Music in September and was playing with the room request tool (awesome tool by the way). In the Room Type drop down list there are two choices: Preferred View Family Suite and Standard View Family Suite. I did no recall having the option to pay for a Preferred room when booking the suite. I called and asked if there was an upgrade I missed, but the CM said there was not. I asked how to get a Preferred View over a Standard View and she did not know. She did say she was adding a request to the reservation for our room to be in one of the Calypso buildings rather than the Jazz buildings. Thanks to the room request tool for all the information by the way! :smile:

I am wondering if anyone else has had any experiences with the family suites at All-Star Music and would have any details on Preferred vs. Standard?

The regular rooms are categorized as “preferred” or “standard.”

Family Suite is a separate category. How did you like it? A few years ago they needed a refurb.
