AKL - Question

We booked a couple of standard rooms at AKL. My mother-in-law does not walk well and we requested something close to the transportation station (I think she is going to rent ECV at park, but doesn’t want to deal with it on buses). When we booked, the agent indicated that they would request a “ground-floor” room near transportation. Looking at the TP room selection app, there are only a few ground floor standard rooms (near the pool). However, it is my understanding that the lobby is on the 3rd floor.

My question, how do you get to bus transportation to parks at AKL…through the lobby or can you access the bus station from ground level (via pool area)? I’m thinking we may be better just request room near lobby. Thoughts?

You are correct about the lobby being on the 3rd level.

So, if you can get a 3rd floor, that would be ideal.

I don’t believe you can access the transportation easily from the ground level. Those rooms are towards the inside of the resort. The transportation is out front.

You want 3rd floor for sure. Lobby level, not ground level.

It’s a little bit of a walk to the bus, even from the lobby, but not horrible.

Room 3216 or so would have a great view, lobby floor, close to lobby. Look at the view on TP website!
