I just got off the phone with a reservations cast member who guaranteed that we would only have a parking lot or rooftop view with a standard room reservations. He was very polite and personable, but was adamant that there were no partial savannah rooms included in this category. On the TP room locator and in other forum topics, quite a few rooms/reviews/comments noted that they had a view of animals with a standard room. Has anyone stayed in a standard room at AKL in the past year and had a partial savannah view (and did not have a room upgrade?) Perhaps TP room locator has rooms marked “standard” that have since been classified by Disney as “savannah view?”
