AK Morning EMH - RD AK or hit up another park?

We are going to WDW in late September and are staying on property. We wonder if it would be worth it to get to AK for EMH RD. We haven’t been in about 4 years and we always felt that all parks besides MK were too small to handle the huge crowd of resort guests in the morning. Has this improved since Pandora or has it gotten worse? Or maybe my real question is: is the RD crowd worse on an EMH morning than a non-EMH morning at AK?

If your hope is to go to Pandora, you will still need to be there by 7:00 for an 8 opening. Of course I was there by 7:20 for a 9:00 opening.

Thanks for such a quick response! I totally expect to have to arrive at least an hour before RD for it to be worth it (and 7:20 is super go-getter on a non-EMH day!) I think my real question is: is the RD crowd worse on an EMH morning than a non-EMH morning at AK?

No, it is not worse, but it is still crowded and you still need to be there early.
