Advice on schedule for MK day May 9

Thanks! I think you are right that maybe it is not worth the park hopper on such a short trip. We will be out late on Saturday night, getting in at midnight or later, so I am still debating on our Sunday plans. Another non-park idea is to sleep in and head to AK lodge for Boma brunch and to see some animals, since we are not going to AK this trip. I am going to consult with the group to see if they want to muster the energy for another park day despite the late night Saturday. I honestly will do whatever they want to do. I appreciate your input!

I like park hoppers on short trips. We often go to MK for the last couple hours when it is open later than other parks. Also, we sometimes hop to EP to use an LLSP on GotG (our fav) and then leave EP. We’ve also found hoppers useful for flexibility to grab good LLMPs (like SDD drops) that become available in other parks.

Edit to add: On short trips we rarely go to DS. It’s always so busy and a time suck when park time is precious on a short trip.

Thank you! I actually agree with everything you are saying. However, for the first time in a while, we are staying to see all of the 3 night shows, which won’t allow for hopping to MK at night, as it is only open until 10 (so far). And my main reason to hop would be to get on my fave GoTG again! If it were up to me, I would stick to 2 parks this trip, Epcot and MK. However, my son really wants to do DHS too. I am actually even debating skipping DHS myself and having a slow pool day between a long Epcot and MK day. They would probably appreciate having the day to themselves anyway!
