Advice for First Time Visit in February

1. Arrival - We picked up a rental when we arrived at MCO. The check-in at HRH was not quick (at least half hour at 9 pm). Had to wait for luggage at MCO and the car rental took a bit of time even with the online reservation. As such, I’d estimate arrival at the parks at closer to 2 pm with a 10 am plane arrival if you are getting luggage, renting a car, and checking in before you arrive.

Thanks for the info. Fingers crossed that just bringing carry ons and Hertz Gold letting me skip the counter helps with the airport. I suppose HRH check in will be what it is but the time should be made up with the express passes through the rest of the day.

They will be staffed better at 10am than 9pm. Prime check-in / out time is 7am - 11am and again from 3pm - 7pm.

I doubt anyone will “walk-up” to an empty counter, especially on a President’s Day holiday weekend, but having more people speeds it up.

You both have/had trips during very BUSY holiday weekends!
