I now have my LL and trying to create my plans for the day. I am wondering is there a way to adjust the wait times? We are doing EE for example for Remys and I hardly doubt (or pray) that we will wait an hour for that ride at EE. But I feel like the entire plan is off when we can’t edit the times. Thoughts or ideas on this and my plans?
I also want to put in possible food stops with markers to remind myself if there is time to stop and grab an item if you have ideas on how to best do that. I was putting it in notes but it seems like when I either optimize or evaluate my notes maybe go away?
Add a break, adjust to whatever time you think it will take, add details in the note (e.g., tap into Frozen show). That’s the only thing I can think of.
Did you make a customized TP? It says I do not have access. May need to make it public.
What is your walking pace and where are you entering from? If you are at the International Gateway before rope drop I don’t think you will wait an hour either. But crowd levels matter.
I will put notes in the pavilion step. They should stay when evaluating or optimizing.
No
You can add a “break” for any personalized steps you want to take but you have to set a roundabout time and keep in mind the break deletes any walking time from the pevious step to the next step.
There should be somewhere that asks if you want to publish the plan. If you say yes, it creates a shareable link that other people can view. I haven’t made plans since the website changed so I’m not sure where it is but it used to be with the details (day/time/park) at the top.
I’m on my android phone so it may look a little different for you. But when I go to share plan there is a toggle switch to publish. If you don’t set it to publish it won’t make it viewable to the “public”.
Thank you! Here they are. Id really like to know whata feasible im over in time for all of these but like o said i dont see a way to use the map (im very visual and love this feature) without the times being off. I dont think a hour wait it likely for EE but then how do i adjust that, or how do i know of im putting too many rides onto my plan?
To start off with, you are going to Epcot on a Crowd Level 9. President’s Day weekend is one of Disney’s most busy times of the year. So I can see why the software gave you that wait time. If you are committed to getting to the IG 30-40 mins before rope drop, you have a decent shot at beating most of the crowds. If you can do that, I would add a break to allot for that. I would just put a break step as number 1, 8:30 - 9:00 and name it Remy. Now if you are later and find yourself way behind the crowds, you could possibly wait that long.
If you need it to show on the map, just use the France Pavilion or the Crepes stand and adjust the time, adding notes accordingly. Rope dropping one of the headliners is hard for TP to predict.
Les Halles in the morning is busy. You could spend 15 minutes in the line. If you plan on sitting to eat (quickly) I suggest 30 mins in the step.
If it’s possible to move that Spaceship Earth LL to a time after Figment (around 10:45 ish), I would do that. Head to Spaceship Earth after Figment then head to the Seas and Lands attractions. If you can do this, when you tap into Pixar you should be able to snag a Soarin’ for around the 1:30-2:00 range. And after you tap into Spaceship Earth, you should be able to grab a Living w/the Land for 2:00 - 2:15.
Also, Turtle Talk is in the Seas Pavilion so make sure that step is next to one of The Seas attractions. I noticed you did not have The Seas Main Tank. I would add this step and at least give you 10 mins to look around. It’s pretty cool. You have to walk through it to get to Turtle Talk from Nemo anyway.
This would be my suggestion for a more organic way to tour Epcot and get more LLs on a very busy day.
ETA: After moving step around you can only evaluate.
This is incredibly helpful, thank you thank you!!! Do you have any thoughts on Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom plans? Id be ao grateful for your expert eye. We will also do Universal 2 parks in one day with express pass and ee but i dont have a plan built yet.
The last Indiana Jones show starts at 4:30 pm, and the last Beauty and the Beast show starts at 4:45 pm. If you want to see them, you need to move them much earlier. Rise of the Resistance is often down at park opening, so you might need to do something different instead then come back to it later. If Rise is down,Tower of Terror and Rock n’ Rollercoaster are both good to do at rope drop, without LL and before the waits too long.
@andreacprice
My concerns about TP’s wait times are just the opposite of yours. I am planning our trip for April 28 - May 4 and Touring Plans is giving me wait times that I believe are far too optimistic. So, I am adding so-call REST times and titling them “Padded wait time for XXXXX” before each attraction. Based on past experience, I would caution against creating optimistic plans. FYI…the projected crowd level for my MK is ‘4’ for my date.
That may throw a wrench in it the . At least for the way I unfolded the Epcot plans. I don’t know if you can dictate what LLs you want at what times with them. I’ve never used them. You will have to check. The new LLMP system is way easier than the old Genie +. Standby Skipper became a useful service in the old Genie+ days.
If you haven’t reevaluated your plans lately give it a try. I think they have just recently did some adjustments.
For HS are you trying to see the Frozen show first thing? You should be heading to Slinky after Rise. Rise at rope drop is iffy. But if you aren’t going to buy the ILL, I think it’s worth trying at least. If it is down, head straight to MFSR or Alien and try to catch rise when it’s back up or during the second showing of Fantasmic.
Alternately, you could rope drop RRC and save rise for the second showing of Fantasmic.
I would group the rest of the attractions together and see what times you get when you evaluate. This can give you an idea of what LLs to look for. RRC and MMRR don’t have reliable daily drops iirc. So you may have to wait standby for those 2.
Sorry how might it throw a wrench? I’m new to all of this, but what I’ve read it will just help me get the LLs I want faster and hopefully allow me to use my phone less. So I’d follow the plans (and hopefully altered plans with your advice because what you gave me for Epcot was so helpful I hope to know more for HS and MK too). When that ride is coming up, or maybe a group of rides is coming up I plus it into skipper and hope they find it for me so I’m not on my phone as much too. Can you tell me what you meant by visit the ‘season attractions’ in you earlier note? Thanks so much!
