Quick question. How easy is it to add a child ticket to your universal wallet when you have an AP? This is the first time I’m buying my daughter’s ticket separately. Was planning on using a 3rd party (undercover tourist which I’ve used before) but it wants the “Adult Lead Guest.” I tried getting an answer from customer service but feedback was unclear. Do I add my name or hers? Am I then able to add her ticket to my wallet? When I did this before I bought two tickets and was able to apply them without problems but I’m just unclear on just doing the one.
I’m wondering if @eeeevah is familiar with this process?
When I bought my family’s tickets from UC, I already had an AP for myself. I don’t recall having to add an “Adult Lead Guest,” but I was also purchasing a ticket for my wife in the same transaction, so maybe it counted that as the lead guest.
Regarding adding to your wallet – it’s not necessary to do that if you don’t want to. You can always visit the ticket desk at your hotel (if it’s a Universal hotel) or the front gate if you want a printed paper ticket, or they can help you work the wallet situation.
Only if it is not a mobile only ticket. @koi1217 if you think you might need a printed ticket, make sure it doesn’t say mobile only. It has been something Universal has been pushing since they removed the kiosks.
We went in Jan and used UC tickets then. They called it an e-ticket and I was able to connect them to my wallet in the universal app. I don’t remember seeing a mobile only. The main thing I worry about is tickets are normally be non-transferable. So it’s weird to me that the name would be mine and not hers. So weird that the customer service didn’t have an immediate answer to it. I might check some of the other 3rd party venders and see how they do it. Thanks!
Well I ended up using Orlando Informer because the price was the same and the directions were more clear. One piece I remember in Jan is I printed out paper copies but because I had cut them (to make it fit my lanyard) they wouldn’t accept those. They needed all the small print for some weird reason. Thanks for the help again!
I was paranoid about this so when I cut mine out they looked like pocket constitutions. No way they’d fit in a lanyard without a lot of trouble. Hence why I went to the ticket desk at Helios and had them print them on cards that were lanyard-sized.
I’m mildly concerned about this mobile only business … UOR IT makes Disney’s seem slick.
