It was both, although the luggage thing was just them just flat out, bold-face lying, which was EXTREMELY upsetting to me.
The dynamic pricing for Spirit goes above and beyond what I’ve seen for other airlines. WAY beyond. Changing by the minute…and even the customer service person I talked to on the phone admitted this was the case.
You can look at a price, and go, “Wow! A great fare!” You pause to confirm things with your wife, and so ten minutes later, go to book the flight, and the fare has now changed…significantly so! This isn’t theoretical. It is what actually happened to me. I canceled the flight when I noticed that (since I didn’t immediately realize the price had gone up!), and by the next day, the price was back down CLOSER to originally quoted price, but not the same.
I’ve never seen anything like that with Delta. They have dynamic pricing, but it based on availability of seats, how far from the date you are, etc. Not based on, “Oh, we saw you were looking at this flight, so we’re now going to raise the price on you!”

MDE would not load my day this morning so eventually logged out to then log back in which of course required me changing my password/emailing codes/reentering passwords everywhere. Bleh.

Ugh, I hate it when this happens! Do have an Android? Because that happens to me a lot and it seems to be an Android thing. I am so happy I use BG1 because there are days I would be completely lost, not being able to see any of my plans.

I have read a lot of reports this morning of password issues and tip board not loading.
went through this after the switch to MyDisney login- over and over again. code after code reset after reset it was a nightmare.
I really don’t want to buy Satnd By Skipper but I had one trip where my tip board consistently wouldn’t load and it saved me.
Then again, that trip was while BG1 was not working, so maybe I will be okay with using that.
I have an iPhone, not Android. Just weird but glad I started early in the morning.
I recently heard on a podcast a very strong suggestion (as in, direct information) that the person who developed Standby Skipper was formerly an employee of Touring Plans. If true, that explains why there was some consideration at one point of making Standby Skipper an affiliate of TP
