I just got home from WDW two weeks ago but I need to go back and try some of this amazing food! You take amazing pictures! Also I had NO idea there was POG gelato?! That is getting added to the TOP of our to do list next time!
I finally got to sample the bison burger during my solo trip last October, and it lived up to the hype. It’s also just a really lovely place to sit and relax.
Ugh, sorry - that sucks. But it sounds like you recovered nicely.
100% relate to this ![]()
Yes! They do this often for Single Riders when the SR queue is open, and I also once had it happen to me when I was using an ILL and was super disappointed - the storytelling and immersion are the best part of that ride!
This is brilliant, stealing that idea for future trips. Your Epcot festival treats and Riviera breakfast haul are so impressive.
I felt very similarly about Sebastian’s. We ate there after our Typhoon Lagoon/check-in day while staying at CBR, and while I thought it was a beautiful restaurant and our table had gorgeous views, I’m not sure I’d go back. I was with (then) DD8 and DD10 who don’t eat meat, which I explained to our server and which he said he took into account - and still felt so bad about how much food we got and couldn’t eat. I also tried to decline dessert (as the kids were nearly falling asleep at the table), but the servers were so sweet and insisted on packing it up for me to take the the room. I did have a couple of bites of it there and it was good. We thought everything we ate at Sebastian’s was very tasty, just not particularly memorable. For our group of three with young children/small appetites (and non-meat eaters), it was not a great value. But I would recommend it for a larger group with healthy appetites!
Loved following your trip report - hope those take-home snacks last you a while to savour the memories!
Yes. I had to look at my TR to be sure.
It was a song and dance to get there (can’t just drive to resort - not an ADR place), but per the TR we had good meals. I couldn’t really remember. Then again my granddaughter was born that day. I was distracted.
It was a pretty boat ride back to our car at MK.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one with the slow-family-induced eye twitch.
You did amazing with getting, stacking, and modifying LLs! Lots of great food pics. Thanks for sharing!
This was on my list, but I didn’t have a chance to try it. How did you like it? I love rice bowls.
Yum… so good!! ![]()
DS14 gave it a big thumbs up. ![]()
Your food reports are making me want to plan another trip already! If you ever add Norway to the list, I’d definitely recommend a 2.5-hour stavanger fjord tour through Lysefjord, with close views of Pulpit Rock, Fantehola and the Whiskey Waterfall—it was such a memorable way to see the scenery.
