The 2 park 1 day plan seems to assume that Universal Studios has early opening and therefore prioritizes Escape from Gringots and Despicable Me. I’m going later this month and according to Universal’s website, Island of Adventure has the early entry when I’m going.
How would I modify the plan when Island has the early opening? I’m thinking Motorbike Adventure and VelociCoaster first, but not sure how this impacts how the day should play out.
I have to think alot of people are in this position, so I’m surprised I don’t see a plan (unless I missed it)

The top part of the plan does mention this under “Additional Notes” and see “Alternative Plan”
Just go in and edit the plans. You’ll have to change the times, but you can then optimize to see the order that TP recommends because the time of day will be different. Yes, probably VC after Hagrid’s. Maybe come back to IOA in the evening to finish anything and see the Nighttime Lights at Hogwart’s Castle.
