How do I book 6 FPP on a day I am attending a party and using a regular entry ticket?

I was hoping to confirm whether hard tickets are definitely needed. I’m located outside the US I don’t believe there is an option to get hard tickets, instead only paper etickets. Thanks!

You need something to scan for FPP. Maybe just pickup a plastic hard card at guest services when you arrive to Disney.

I have printed out the eticket before and there was a turnstile labeled for eticket entrance.

What did you use for scanning FPP? Since this is a dummy account it won’t have a MB on it.

I did not scan for FPs with an ETicket. I was just responding on entry.

Has anyone tried using the Dummy account to make FP is a different park or on a different day? My guess, the only restriction is that you can only have one day’s FP+ reservations at a time since you only have one day’s admission.

Oh wow! I wish I could test this. I always focused on the extra for that day in MK but if you are guessing right then FP could be made any day (not only the date of the party) and at any park. Along that same line you could potentially pre book day 1, use them, pre book day 2, use them, pre book day 3, use them and so on until you use your ticket for party admission.

I’ll try when my 30 day window comes up very soon. Also, do you suppose the RFID enabled card could be used to book same day FPPs on different days and in different parks?

Yes. In May I used my dummy account 2015 party card to book extra same day FPP.

Wow. The card can be used to book same day FPP in- for example- the Studios days before the party? In your case, you used your card from the 2015 party to book same day FPP in May 2016? This is the info I really need. I’d rather use the card than buy a MB or borrow a friend’s MB for additional same day FPP’s. Also, is your dummy account with the linked party ticket ‘friends’ with your primary MDE? And, once you make same day FPP w/ your party card (at a kiosk first thing in the morning I’m guessing), can you make changes to the 3 same day FPP via your primary MDE? I hope this makes sense and thank you.

[/quote]. I have not done this with an active unused ticket. So not sure. I have only done so with expired or used cards.

Yes my dummy account is friends with my primary account. No you can’t make changes from the APP. I have only been able to book and make changes at the kiosk with the expired dummy ticket.

Have you tried logging into your dummy account via an Internet browser and making changes there?

Nope.

So, do people who book the party tickets and get an e-ticket to print at home just not know that they have FPs? How would they use them, if there’s nothing to scan at the ride?

But I am appreciating all the insight being shared here.

I have not personally used the eticket. Above @PrincipalTinker mentions you can for sure enter via a scan of the print out. Some people might not use the 3fpp, some might have a MB linked and use that, you also might be able to stop by guest services and request a hard card. I have personally have done two of those three: used my MB (on my true MDE) and the hard party card (on my dummy account) to enter for party and utilize my FP.

Yes. Last time I checked the Kiosks do not check for valid park admission. I bought a Magic Band in the park, linked to a friend’s account that had no admission and was able to book three FPP.

It seems like an easy fix for to check fo admission before allowing you to use a FPP, but they don’t.

This is interesting reading. I followed @AuntB_luvsDisney advice, and set up dummy account which I bought my party tickets with. I opted for the hard tickets to be posted to the UK at cost I think of $25. Have since linked my dummy’s to my main account. I will try and book my party FP’s at 60 days but sounds like that loop hole has been closed. I’m curious but not bothered about getting Ex FP on other days. I don’t think I can as we don’t have spare magic bands and I don’t want to buy 4 extra ones to try something that might not work and is rather dodgy. I have no qualms about wanting my party ticket FP’s in addition the normal ticket ones.

Is anyone planning to try this in September when the halloween parties start? I’m just curious if it works as I’ve been told Disney is “taking measures to prevent circumventing the fastpass+ system”. As in if you only have a party ticket associated with your fake MDE account, they will not allow you to make FPP+ selections…and obviously if you have the party ticket associated w/ your true MDE account, you still only get to do the 3 selections. Very curious if this works for anyone this year.

Thanks very much for this information. If I use a dummy account for the party tickets will I still be able to use Photopass (which is included as part of our UK package) associated with my original account during the party? Thanks.

Yes of course. You can wear your MB associated with your primary account so the ride photos still get assigned to your primary MDE account. Scan your MB for all photos. You will only use the party card for entry and FPP kiosks. Everything else can go on your MB (photos, purchases, dining etc)
