our (DW38, DD14 & DS4 – Staying at POP with regular DP) FP+ booking window is approaching slowly,
so i´ll love to share some updates regarding our TouringPlans with you. Again, i´m really excited, because booking FP+ will be the last official step to finalize our plans.
The biggest question for me is to either to rely on RD and use the FP + for the late morning/early afternoon,
or try to score FP+ reservations already early in the morning.

I’ve heard 30-45 minutes to ride FOP even with a FPP. Takes a while to load/unload theater and get everyone situated. I’m traveling right before you - enjoy your trip!

Hey @m.kammann looks like you have some good plans going on!
As far as FP+ are concerned, I tend to try to book them for mid morning so I can rely on them when crowds get a little heavier and then I increase my chance of getting additional FP. However, I would only do this if you can make RD in the mornings – only you know if your family will be able to make RD each morning.
We love AK. I think your plan seems pretty good, but I would encourage you to do Wilderness Explorers throughout your day instead of before EE - see if you can get a FP for EE after the FOTLK - again because then you can try to get more FPP. I haven’t been during the new pandora, but I am thinking that you might need to move back your FPP for the safaris – and what about including time to walk around pandroa both in the day and the night?

Thanks for the great input. sounds good. I plan to get the wilderness explorer handbook as soon as possible. I scheduled the fp for ks that early, because the animals should be more active, but think you are right. Maybe move it an hour later.
@m.kammann, another option could be to keep your safari FP and be willing to maybe miss it & try to reschedule if you end up staying longer in Pandora. Although I do agree with you that it is nice to see the animals early in the morning when they are more active.

MK: I know you said you may have to do HM by yourself. That’s a good one to try to get as an additional FPP, it tends to have fairly long lines at times. It’s also one of my favorites. You can search for extra FPP as soon as you scan in for your last one.

Oh-Oh; I´m getting nervous again. Today is the FP+ Day for us.
Any last hints? I can´t decide whether choose the FP+ as planned in MK,
or should i change to the three mountains until afternoon???

It will be ok!
You have a plan. Stick with the plan, but try not to feel too stressed, and be flexible when necessary. You’ll be able to make changes later if you need to. Sometimes reading planning sites can make things sound way more intense and stressful than they really are.

Wow, that was hard. Unfortunately, I had a meeting at work when the booking window was opened.
All FP + for Flight of Package had already disappeared after an hour. Although we are only on our fourth day in AK.

While HS (almost like planned) and MK (RD 7DMT - than 3 Mountains over the day) work very well,
I am not satisfied with AK at all. What are the chances, that i can re-schedule (or even score FoP)?

Looks great! I would just keep checking for Flight of Passage FPs. You never know what might show up!

Thank you. After a few hours, i feel fine with the selections, too. Just like you mentioned…don’t overplan & be flexible…
