We are planning a trip after Thanksgiving or first week of December. I am retiring in June after teaching for 37 years so this will be my first Disney trip not during a public school vacation week. Would appreciate feedback regards which week is preferable. Also, when does the 2018 Unofficial Guide come out?
Check the Crowd Calendar on the Touring Plans web site to determine expected crowd levels around when you may take your trip. Generally, first week of December slower than a week that overlaps with Thanksgiving weekend, which is a very high crowd time.

While there were always lots of people, there was never a feeling of being crowded…
